Me llamo Asia porque mi madre wanted me to remember that I’m Asian. At first she was going to name me Filipina, but decided Asia was a better choice.
I’m attending the Fashion Institute of Technology, class of 2017 (FMM).
I’m weak for ice cream and milkshakes, so take me on an ice cream date!
I’m exactly 5’4” now!
My favorite color is yellow, and pink is a close second. I hate the color brown. Nobody has ever been told, “Hey, brown is your color.” And brown nail polish is a sin; unless it’s beige and you’re going for that neutral look so as to not overpower the colors of your outfit. My nails are always done. Bare nails are ugly to me.
My hair is naturally black. And honestly, I think I had really nice hair. I pretty much thought I could do anything I wanted to it and it would always be healthy and look nice. But then I bleached it in an attempt to do ombre. I liked the color, but I had a lot of breakage/split ends. So I chopped it to my chin and dyed it Rihanna-red, which I didn’t like, so I dyed it back to black.
I’m afraid of cars and fast driving because both my parents have been, hit by cars before. I finally worked up the courage to begin driving myself, and I’m surprisingly wonderful at it. Hidden talent!
I don’t drink/smoke/do drugs. Not necessarily because I care or make a conscious decision to do so, it just doesn’t occur to me to do those types of things..
I have a great memory. I remember things from a long time ago, and it’s easy for me to remember conversations and trivia-type-things. I also have a big vocabulary because I’d rather read than party, and whenever I see a word I don’t know, I look it up and always remember. So while these qualities can be quite useful, it gets embarrassing sometimes when people try to use me as a dictionary or encyclopedia.
I’m in love with Beyoncé, Lashontae Heckard, the Kardashians, and Melanie Iglesias.
I only wear one perfume: Pleasures by Estée Lauder.
I do not dance. And I most certainly do not grind.
I have a white Chihuahua named Rice and a Yorkie named Raptor-the-Velociyorkie.
I have a sister who is two years older than me.
I say “whatevs” and “totes magotes.”
I have always wanted to get married and have kids. That’s my real dream in life.
